About the role
Remote Business Development Manager on Groundfloor's Originations Team, covering retail and broker originations for real estate loans. The role conducts sales calls, closes loans from provided and self-generated leads, and is the main point of contact for customers through the loan process. Candidates in Atlanta, GA or Wichita, KS are preferred.
What you'll do
- Conducts sales calls to prospective customers by introducing Groundfloor, developing a profile, providing a value proposition, and documenting the results within the Company client relationship management tool.
- Be the main point of contact throughout the loan process for both our customers and Groundfloor.
- Close loans from leads that are provided, as well as self-generated.
- Accountable for developing/executing strategic plans to hit/exceed sales targets.
- Travel / Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
What they're looking for
- Sales executive experience, meeting/exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- 2+ years experience in sales, real estate, lending or finance preferred
- BA/BS degree preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel occasionally and attend industry events
